Every year many communities around South Florida start their celebration with Tree lighting and window lighting contest around their neighborhood. It is just fun to be there and get in on the festivities.

Christmas on Las Olas is by many of us known as the unofficial start of the "winter season" in South Florida. You can find all over the event typical winter celebrations such as having a winter wonderland, ice skating ring, a snow mountain and choirs with singing of old and new Christmas carols throughout.
