What this year has meant to me - relationships
I don't usually get personal on my blogs. Not sure why, I am an open book in real life and on Facebook but for some reason bearing it all on a blog just hasn't been my thing. But this year, it's time to change that.  As this year draws to an end, my relationships are heavy on my mind.
I made a pretty big move a year ago this time, from McEnearney Associates to Century 21 Redwood Realty.  I won't get into all the specifics of why, but let's just say, I am very happy I made the move and feel I've found a place where I fit in.  Selling real estate can be pretty isolating sometimes. Sure we are out with clients a lot, talking to agents and lenders, inspectors and contractors all the time, but we don't really work with people that much.  I work from home a lot, basically because it just saves time. I can crank out more work if I just open my laptop then if I drive into the office.  Yeah and an extra 40 - 60 minutes a day, when you are a working mom, are invaluable.
