Academy Park offers great creek fishing and is one of the largest in Gahanna. There are numerous nature trails and heated restrooms available..
Creekside Park offers fishing in the Big Walnut Creek.
Friendship Park offers fishing from small boats and canoes. 
Hannah Park has a catch and release pond.
Woodside Green Park offers a canoe launch into Big Walnut Creek and a catch and release pond. 
 
Sports Fields and Courts
Academy Park is also great for sports including 7 baseball fields and 2 basketball courts. 
Friendship Park offers 23 acres of tennis, basketball and is perfect for picnics. 
Hannah Park offers tennis and basketball courts, baseball diamonds and trails. 
Headley Park features 33 acres of athletic fields such as soccer fields, softball diamond and more.
McCorkle Park is almost 35 acres of football fields, soccer fields, and lots of open space.
