Crawfish Boils and Spring in Southwest Louisiana
When working with residents relocating to Lake Charles and  meeting  clients moving to Southwest Louisiana I am frequently asked about "Things to Do in Lake Charles". Visitors quickly fall in love with our cajun food, festivals and traditions.  The people of Lake Charles have always known the value of locally sourced ingredients and down-home cooking in Southwest Louisiana which sets us apart with culinary delights.
Our weather in Southwest Louisiana is mild so outside entertaining spaces can be enjoyed throughout the year and area  popular with with many homeowners  
Holidays are special anytime and its not uncommon to find family and friends gathered together enjoying sampling the designated cook's cajun specialties. With the abundance of  of our streams, rivers and lakes nearby seafood is not hard to find and you can easily find yourself invited to a fish fry or crawfish boil!   This is especially true during the Lenten Season.
 Today was Good Friday and my family boiled crawfish and shrimp with   friends who came to enjoy the fellowship of fun and food around  the pool at my house.
