Five Reasons I Love Living In Sarasota, FL!
 
There are many, many reasons why I love living in Sarasota and distilling them down to five is hard, but here are my Top Five in  descending order:
 
5.  The Climate and Location in Florida.
 
Having been raised in a frigid northern climate and being one who never had any love for cold weather or cold weather related activities, I fled to Florida immediately after graduate school many years ago and have never looked back.  I love the climate here in Florida.  We have mild, sunny winters with temperatures averaging in the 70s and warm, sultry summers with temperatures averaging in the 80s.  I have always loved being near water where I never fail to find peace and serenity.  Here in Sarasota we have water everywhere:  Bays, inlets, rivers, bayous and the magnificent Gulf of Mexico.  We have some of the best beaches anywhere including Siesta  Key Beach, the Number One Beach in America!
 
4.  There Is Always Something Happening.
 
What ever the time of year, there are always lots of Events Happening In Sarasota.  You name it:  Art Shows, Beach Runs, Rowing Marathons, Baseball Games, Antique Car Shows, the downtown Saturday Farmers Market as well as several ... more
