Continued....Prettiest little filling station in Bald Knob AR...
I wrote a blog last week about the pleasure I receive when passing by the little old English Tudor filling station in Bald Knob.  Lots of Sleuths have responded and I now have more pictures, more knowledge, and new friends.  It is on the Historic Register, was built around 1930 and was operated by the man shown in the picture below and all comments stated how nice he was.
Here's my picture with first blog.
Look at this next picture that was provided by a Sleuth who got it from an old high school yearbook.
I understand!  It does not show much of the filling station BUT look in the background.  There it shows a matching building with the same brick and the same Tudor trim.  Here's another one that was sent to me.
What a cute house on the other side, right?  And check out that souped up Volkswagen bug!  Here is what that building looks like today.
Look closely and you can see the old Tudor trim on both gables.  Brick has been painted and it was impossible to see how it looked before until I received the pictures from friends.  I did always think it was the cutest little pizza depot and wondered ... more
