2015 Tax Free Weekend - Texas | Aug. 7th - 9th | The Bly Team
Glenn Hegar (Texas Comptroller) reminds shoppers how much you can save during Tax-Free weekend. The state’s annual tax holiday allows you to save on certain items priced under $100. This year, the sales tax holiday has been announced to take place August  7th – 9th (Friday, Saturday & Sunday). The law exempts most school supplies (including backpacks), foot wear and clothing that are priced under $100. Shoppers could save about $8 on every $100 they spend.

Hegar states: “As the father of three young children, I know back-to-school expenses can really put a strain on family budgets this time of year” He knows all too well that this is an “opportunity for families to save some money and prepare to the start of the year.”
