While exhibiting at a highly rated Festival in Gulf Shores, Alabama, called the Gulf Shores Shrimp Festival, I ventured out to find something, I could paint for the show that would relate to the name. I took many pictures from around the Gulf.  As it was nearing the end of the day and the sun was beginning to set, when I found some shrimp boats that had come in from their daily catch.  This boat was one that had already docked for the day.
The painting became popular in the region, as I sold a number of prints, as well as the painting.
