Hell to Heaven in 18 Months!
I am here to report I am alive and well.  I haven't written a post in almost a year and slowed down about the time I quit drinking in January 2014.
Life has seriously gotten in the way.  In January 2014, I quit drinking.  Yep I could probably consider myself an alcoholic.  Shortly after a severe depression ensued and then an "enlightenment" if you will.  This is typical of all former drinkers I do believe.  The enlightenment was a period where I enjoyed life like I have never enjoyed it before.
I also realized that my marriage was based on booze and parties and I was "done" with that type of life and had to move on to enjoy a life that I saw with my enlightenment period.
Shortly after, I met up to have a face to face meeting with a local inspector that I had never met but we had previous interactions on the phone.  We both fell in love immediately.  I fought it for quite some time as I felt I had to get my ducks in order.  You know - cleaning up all the chaos that goes hand in hand with a former addicts party life - keep my head above ... more
