Some of these places are set up creatively to share a spooky experience, and others claim to have genuine hauntings. These should be more than enough to send a chill shooting up the spine.
13th Gate begins on October 1, 2015. The appropriately named 13th Gate will be opening its doors between the hours of 6:30 PM and 11:30 PM on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays until the last week of October. At this time, it will be open every day through Halloween on October 31st.
Conveniently located at 832 Saint Philip Street in downtown Baton Rouge, 13th Gate offers a choice between the 13th Gate Haunted House and Necropolis 13. The first is a collection of sets that range from hearses to suspended bridges and underground tunnels. These are sure to scare participants due the work of award-winning scenic artists, set creators, and special effects artists.
