We have enjoyed a really good meal at the new restaurant in Paia... Hana Ranch Provisions. They strive to grow their own food for the eatery, and the beef comes from the Hana Ranch which has a long history of cattle ranching. Since we also raise our own grass fed beef, we are hard to please, but honestly their hamburger was praise worthy and I'll go there again.
The menu is limited, but so is the menu at my house where we also eat a lot of our own home grown produce and meat.  It's all about what's in season as well as what tastes good.

Organically grown food.  I appreciate that they are trying to use minimal poisons on their ranch and gardens, as this is not easy to do in the lush Hawaiian climate where weeds thrive all year round.  They have a 10 acre certified organic garden producing fruits and veggies without GMO seeds. More and more people are demanding to know what's in their food, and on it.
