The smells of the seasons... The good, the bad, and the deal breaker.
When you come home from a long day at work, and walk in to your home- what would be your ideal scent to walk in to?  Cinnamon and cloves burning? Garlic and onions simmering? Fresh laundry wafting through the air? As with your own preference, buyers too have an opinion on what they smell upon entering a home, and sometimes that opinion can carry over into their decision on whether or not the home is "ideal" for them.
As we dig more into the depths of autumn, the options of pumpkin and cinnamon become more abundant eveyrwhere you turn. When autumn turns to winter, pine starts making it's debut everywhere, and while the popularity of these candles is hardly arguable, the question of whether or not they should be burning in a home comes in to play. What if someone walking into the home doesn't like that smell? Surely it's better than that of a wet dog or a litter box, but could it be a detterant?  
And what if there is food simmering on the stove or the crockpot resting after a full day of preparing dinner, and the home smells strongly of a certain type of cuisine?  As a fellow realtor, ... more
