The Life of a Horse Breeder or Why We Do It!
Sometimes you are struggling with injuries where a young horse runs into you and you sprain your ankle. Or there are days when your storage trailer leaked and you have to use a lot of your great hay for garden compost. Or when lightning strikes and blows out your electric fence. Or when you have trained, hired a handler, trailered for several hours, bathed and braided, only to have your young horse step on herself in the stall and come up just lame enough right before her class to cause you to have to scratch. In spite of all of these catastrophes I look out at my horses on a day like this and just can’t help but smile!
Things are winding down here on Zondervan Farm but we still have a few wonderful Dutch Warmblood mares to sell. Visit our website www.zondervanfarm.com for more information.
