Legend Oaks Plantation in Summerville

Summerville is the home of the Legends Oaks golf course, honored as the South Carolina Golf Course of the Year in 2010. It is the also the home of the beautiful community of Legend Oaks Plantation, which occupies the site of a former rice plantation, just off Highway 61. This popular upscale neighborhood is composed of 5 subdivisions. The Province, Palmetto Forest, The Club, and Whispering Fields are mostly single-family dwellings with a few condos available in the Highlands subdivision. 
This community is one of the few golf course communities in Summerville and offers resort-style amenities to the residents. The world class tennis facility was named top in the state in 2012. There are a number of pools, dining, and recreational choices as well.
Downtown Summerville offers great shopping, galleries, restaurants, and night life. More options are available in nearby North Charleston. History comes to life in the historical sites all around the area, including preserved homes, gardens, and plantations.
