Feels like just yesterday when I started my 2009 Real Estate blog. Paragraphs full of optimism, realism and even some cynicism. I wrote about banks taking advantage of people, people taking advantage of banks and the system that rewarded the wicked and punished the pure. In 2012, the relevance of a short sale realtor was gone. Like buggy whips and the Rubik’s cubes, short sales were yesterday’s news.
It’s not that I stopped selling; the last few years were my best years ever. I just stopped writing. Being an optimist is not very distinctive when everyone is happy. As a big believer of the power of positive thinking and being completely opposed to stinking thinking, I lost my relevance to write. As I woke up this cold February morning, I realized that pessimism can flourish in all environments. Perhaps I was naïve to think that though the Autos are posting record profits and you can get a gallon gas under $2, people still are having a rough time. So now I invite you to my long awaited born-again blog. A blog dedicated to people, communities and real estate.
