"Today in History:  An act of Congress on Feb. 9, 1870, authorized the establishment of the U.S. Weather Bureau.  Responsibility for gathering weather information was assigned to the Signal Corps of the War Department.  In 1891, everything was transferred to an agency in the Department of Agriculture called the Weather Bureau." According to the 1972 Popular Science Illustrated Almanac for Home Owners February 9 entry, "Every home needs certain instruments to keep track of, or help predict the weather."
It goes on to say that if you have a thermometer you can record indoor and outdoor temperatures.  If you have a hygrometer you can know the state of your indoor humidity.  If you have a barometer, you can keep track of atmospheric pressure so you can be aware of approaching weather changes.
In Arizona, the advice regarding Arizona Real Estate Investment Properties is simple...it is going to be hot or cold, it will likely not be raining and the air will be dry.
