Homes for sale in Charlotte's Dilworth neighborhood

If you're looking to move to Charlotte, check out the homes for sale in the popular neighborhood of Dilworth. Dilworth was Charlotte’s first streetcar suburb. Dating back to the 1890s, this well-designed neighborhood features stately, mature oak trees, sidewalks, and houses with front porches. The homes are primarily bungalows — with the occasional Queen Anne — and some larger, two-story Colonial Revivals. Much of the neighborhood is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as the Dilworth Historic District.
Out & About in Dilworth
The neighborhood’s main thoroughfare, East Boulevard, is lined with restaurants, offices and shops, many located in renovated homes. Dilworth also boasts some of the city’s best evening-life options. A slew of restaurants along East Boulevard offer high-end cuisine in almost every category imaginable, making Dilworth a prime place to grab dinner before heading to the bars and clubs of nearby Uptown or South End. For fun, stop by historic Latta Park, which includes a “sprayground” for children, making it a summertime favorite. The Nature Museum is located off the greenway in Freedom Park. It houses many animals and nature exhibits, including a butterfly exhibit in a natural habitat. Also in Dilworth: the Tom Sykes Recreational Center, several farmers markets, greenways, Freedom Park, Charlotte Rail ... more
