Great Buildings Chicago: Prudential Building
The Prudential Building was at one time considered the tallest building in Chicago with 41stories and was constructed of limestone and aluminum rather than steel and glass.
The Prudential Building was completed in 1955 with an observation deck where you could enjoy cocktails from "Top of The Rock"
 
The original architects were Naess & Murphy.
