Staging FAQ’s- Should I Just Paint Everything White?
Don’t touch that paint brush...yet!

This is one of the top questions a seller will ask a Stager on a Staging Consultation... “Should I  paint all the walls white?”

You see Staging Consultations aren’t just about moving furniture around or telling you what to get rid of.  Our Staging Consultations are like a blueprint or guide to getting your home in “Market Ready” condition.

Assisting you with paint choices is just one of the many services included.

So.....what about the white?  When Stagers suggest a neutral palette it is not with the hope of selling white (or beige) paint.
The purpose of going neutral is to remove anything that could distract a buyer from seeing the possibilities of your house.

Neutral does not necessarily equal white or beige (or boring).  In fact, all white can be considered distracting and detracting.  White can make a house appear cold unless done right.

A neutral color ...
-will not offend the Buyer.
-will allow and even enhance the architecture.
- lets the room be the star of the show.
-acts like a frame for the room.
-can actually help highlight a structural feature.

A neutral paint color can range from warm to cool... light to dark.
