Construction is underway in Daytona Beach and very soon we will have a new shopping mecca, the Tangers Outlet Mall. Tanger purchased the 39 acre site from Daytona Beach based Consolidated-Tomoka Land Co. (NYSE:CTO) 
 
 
 
 
 
The Tangers Outlet Mall project is expected to create over 1000 jobs, and generate an estimated $7M+ in annual sales tax revenue.  New York based Create Architeture Planning & Design PLLC is the project Architect.  
Tanger Factory Outlets own, operate or has ownership interest in 42 shopping centers nationwide.  Tanger President and CEO Steve Tanger has optimistic outlook for the future of outlet malls which are celebrating 35th anniversay.  Tanger's father opened the first outlet center in North Carolina in 1981.
The 10-building complex is expected to have between 75-80 stores by national chains, including a huge H&M Store.  The Tangers Outlet Mall Daytona Beach is expected to open by Black Friday, the traditional start of the holiday shopping season, 2016.
The outlet mall's 10 buldings will be laid out like a racetrack with pedestrian walkways and informational kiosks throughout forshoppers, and free Wi-Fi, kids splash area and fountains.  Tropical ... more
