Faena Versailles Contemporary Is A Landmark In The Making
Time stops for no man. In that spirit, even as world famous Buenos Aires hotelier and visionary Alan Faena is nodding to Miami’s glamorous past by renovating the Art Deco Versailles Classic tower he is busy creating a future landmark and a striking exemplar of modernity with the Versailles Contemporary. The new 18 story tower, designed by English-born architect Brandon Haw, will rise next to the original Versailles on 3425 Collins Ave and house 41 units ranging from one to five bedrooms and from 1,111 square feet to 5,469 square feet. The Versailles Contemporary will also include two penthouses in excess of 8,000 square feet, one of which will include a 2,097 square foot infinity pool and 6,600 square foot rooftop deck.

Haw has explained that the Versailles Contemporary’s curved corners and rippling facades are meant to evoke the distinct Art Deco Miami style of its Versailles Classic neighbor while maximizing the views of the ocean, the bay, and the Miami skyline. Amenities will include valet parking, access to storage spaces, two state of the art fitness centers, the Faena Gardens designed by the landscape architect Raymond Jungles, and preferred status to the many other attractions that will comprise the Faena District. ... more
