Did you ever see a place that sounded interesting but you weren't sure if you should stop in or not? The Celt Irish Pub in McKinney is a place I passed by many times and always paused, took photographs of the outside of the building, but didn't have the courage to go inside - until recently. When I think about all the great immigrants that came to America, I couldn't imagine life without the Irish. They brought with them their Irish blessings, Irish  lullabies, stories about leprachauns, four leaf clovers, the rainbow and the pot of gold, Irish Bread,  folk tales, their music, songs, and their beloved culture. Inside those Irish folks I know, there's a twinkle in their eyes. I may not always understand them, but they sure are funny and when they drink their Irish Whiskey, it doesn't seem to matter what they say, for they are the life of the party! Because of them, we celebrate St. Patrick's Day! We eat, drink green beer, and we be Irish too! And who doesn't love a good old fashioned Irish Jig?
