The Independence Day holiday is upon us, so we are pleased to provide this list of upcoming public fireworks displays around the state. All dates and time are as accurate as possible; for further information or confirmation of dates and times, please contact the appropriate city or town government:

Oxford: Quaker Farms School -- Fireworks at 9:45 p.m.
New London: Ocean Beach Park
Middletown: City Hall/Harbor Park-- Fireworks at dark (UPDATE: postponed until July 2nd)
Hamden: Hamden Town Center Park -- Fireworks at 9 p.m. (UPDATE: postponed until July 2nd)
Stafford Springs: Stafford Motor Speedway -- Independence Day Celebration & Fireworks
West Haven: Bradley Point Park -- Fireworks at 9 p.m.
Derby: Viewed from center of town -- Fireworks at dusk (UPDATE: postponed until July 3rd)
Danbury: Danbury Fair fireworks at dusk (UPDATE: postponed until July 2nd)
Killingly: Owen Bell Park-- Fireworks at 9 p.m.
Milford: Helwig Street, Milford Lisman's Landing-- Fireworks at 9:15 p.m. (UPDATE: postponed until July 8th)
Naugatuck: Old Firehouse Road -- Fireworks at 9:15 p.m. (UPDATE: postponed until July 2nd)
