We are all better than this . . .
I had somewhat of a revelation today and sat down at my computer to share and decided NOT to post it because . . . (This blog post is a repurposed Facebook post I published today)    Before I started typing, I took a glance at my facebook feed and was appalled at what I saw. So many good people with lots of passion acting like 2 year olds who haven’t the foggiest notion of the meaning or importance of the Golden Rule.   In that moment, an AHA!   If I were to post my very personal revelation, odds are decent there would be people who might misinterpret my meaning as they run it through their own filters of right and wrong . . .   or I could phrase something in the wrong way such that I might invite someone to label me with one of the buzz labels that are swirling around on the internet . . .     So many decent people are now acting indecently here on the net . . . perhaps because this realm is so single-dimensional that they are protected in some way.   I want to SCREAM such that EVERYONE can ... more
