Ocean 302 - Melbourne Beach, Florida

Ocean 302  is a wonderful beachside restaurant that is owned by the same fine folks that run my favorite food store, Melbourne Beach Supermarket.  In fact, both venues are located in the same strip mall on Ocean Ave in Melbourne Beach. Ocean 302  is a wonderful breath of fresh air!
Given that we live in a small community, it has been my opinion that there is a real lack of great restaurants other than Italian. We have a lot of Italian restaurants here. Ocean 302  is a superb addition to our community. I went for lunch today and was impressed by the diversity of the menu. What I mean by that is that the items on the Ocean 302  menu are unique and different without being so far out in left field that you wouldn't want to try what is offered.
I saw the Beef n Blue pizza on the menu and asked our waitress her opinion. She confidently answered,
"It is absolutely amazing".
