Is it a good idea to abandon a "niche" when referrals keep coming?
Am I nuts? Just because I am starting on a whole new marketing strategy in August does not mean I am abandoning the areas that I have been working before.
THAT DECISION WAS MADE FOR ME LAST NIGHT
Last night about 11:30 PM, a text came through from a past client, a first time home buyer who never thought she would be able to own her own home. She bought a "short sale" home that needed a lot of work and the bank actually made the repairs needed. That was not so usual back in the "bad old days". She felt that she was in heaven and would never move again.
Fast forward to last night and, Yes, Virginia, I answer my phone and texts as long as I'm awake. Why not?
Now she is ready to "move up" and who does she get in touch with? The one who is there for her.
NO, I WON'T ABANDON MY OLD CLIENTS NO MATTER WHAT.
