Love where you live on Long Island's south shore
The perfect home for my family on Long Island's south shore came with a list of must haves. For our purposes, an updated kitchen or baths, while a real bonus, were negotiable. Rather, it was location that was much more important. The perfect house had to be in walking distance from the train, Main Street and our house of worship.
 
 
Merrick is conveniently located 45 minutes from the City and it is well-known for its award-winning schools, There is easy access to highways, and, short distances (or walking) to transportation, shops, restaurants, houses of worship. Jewel Quinn Senior Community Services, Merrick Golf Course, Norman J. Levy Park & Preserve, (affectionately known as Merrick Mountain) and Merrick Cinemas are notable.
 
Merrick is a desirable place to settle down in Nassau County, Long Island and there are different neighborhoods to consider.

Recognized for its New England feel, the section known as Merrick Woods, is extra popular with Buyers.
