Brentwood Rapist Finally Arrested
For 14 years, the residents in Forrest hills and surrounding Brentwood communities have lived in fear. One of the safest communities in Tennessee has been the target of a serial rapist.  13 know attacks have happened by a masked man who like to use the cover of woods to escape, and guns and knives to subdue his victims. 4 of the attacks were on otter creek road, close to radnor lake park. On Monday morning, a Michigan couple visiting their children in Brentwood were awakened in their travel trailer by their dog. When they looked outside, they saw a man standing nearby. When they saw the mask, they called 911. The police responded within 5 minutes, but a search of the area didn't turn up anything. About a an hour later, a Brentwood policeman noticed a man walking in the neighborhood. When questioned, the man said he had been at a party.  The police let him go, but put a 24 hour surveillance detail on him, eventually getting a DNA sample that matched sample from previous crime scenes was enough to arrest him on Thursday.
