With all the passion this year surrounding the Central Valley's emerging awareness of the "farm to fork" culture, we sometimes forget that in many of our communities the "farmers" have been offering pre-fork opportunities for years!  While it may take a little more effort than just dropping into your locally sourced eatery, community farmers' markets provide ongoing opportunities for farm fresh and healthy produce and products.  The Lodi Farmers Market has been running each Thursday from around 4:30 to dusk  ... and now with a break in the triple digit weather ... here's an opportunity for a family and/or friends outing ....
