When you first become a real estate agent, you imagine taking buyers out in your car, showing them great houses and having them making a decision on one.  It's not like House Hunters, where buyers see three houses over the course of a day or two and fall in love with one.   Some buyers look at a lot of homes over a period of a season or two.
In this case, I met the Buyers in 2008.  They were introduced by a former client and needed a rental.  I found them a great townhouse.  Next time I saw them, their family had grown from three to four and they were being asked by the landlord to move.  The landlord wanted to sell.  So I found them another rental.  Then as time went by, we started conversations about buying.  Seems I showed them homes starting last summer, but maybe it was longer.  When you get busy selling homes, time passes quickly.
