Union Grove Distillery
At the Hudson Valley Wine and Food Fest I became aquainted with the Union Grove Distillery located in Arkville New York, a town in the Catskill Region.
This distillery produces vodka known as  VLY Creek Vodka which is made from apple and wheat.
 
Meet half of the team, Todd and Jeanine Pascarella.  I went over to speak with a friend  and she introduced Todd as her son.  Todd is a trained scientist and decided to follow his passion of creating a special vodka. 
The other half of the team is Brian and Penny Mulder , I did not get to meet them. 
From what I have heard Brian and Todd make a great team.
 
Union Grove Distillery offers tours and tasting. Now that the Fall is here, the Catskill region is perfect for leaf peeping.  Why not plan a day of viewing the foliage,  then take a tour of this distillery.

This new business is a nice addition to the list of things to do in the  Arkville community.
