Greeenehaven Arizona has changed a lot in the last few years. This small town has a rich history in our area and was named after Art Greene. I found a great site at ASU Libraries with photos and all about Art Greene - You can check it out

Greenehaven is the only town with home ownership almost on the shores of Lake Powell. Several years ago a developer purchased a large portion of Greenehaven and today has several spec homes for sale as well as numerous lots. There are also private owners selling lots and homes as well.
As of May 3, 2008 in Greenehaven there are
146 lots for salePrice range $75,000 to $235,000Size range .23 acres to 1.05 acres Lake Powell is currently raising 4 inches a day and by the first of July should see a 50 foot total vertical increase in water. Try to imagine what is in these photos taken today with 50 additional vertial feet of water.....
