National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day - Columbus, Ohio SWACO, in partnership with the DEA is having a “Drug Take Back Day” on October 22, 2016. This is an opportunity for you to safely dispose of expired or unneeded prescription drugs. Many Metropolitan Columbus law enforcement agencies and select Kroger locations participate in this community event. Each location accepts dry, prescription pills. National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day aims to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means for disposing of prescription drugs, and educating the community about the potential for abuse of medications.
