Wakodahatchee Wetland Nature Walk Delray Beach
It is a miracle Sunday today as the weather in Delray Beach Florida was a cool 66 degrees at sunrise. It is a perfect time for nature lovers and visitors to experience the haven of birds , sub-tropical plants and wildlife that surround you as you walk the loop around the preserve. The  Wakodahatchee Wetlands loop trail is about .05 miles and has a  a wooden boardwalk sitting comfortably above the water to stroll and walk. There are also gazebos to relax and enjoy the view.
Photographers embrace this trail as they quitely and patiently wait for the entourage of ducks, herons, egrets, alligators, owls and lots more search for food, feed their babies and claim their space within the many trees.

The Wakodahatchee Wetlands Trail is located off of Jog Road. It is part of the Palm Beach County Utility Reclamation facility. Highly treated treated water is pumped into the wetlands. The mulitude of plants act as a filter to continue to cleanse the water.

It is a win win for all and on my top ten list of gorgeous nature places to enjoy in Palm Beach County Florida.
