Photos of a Sunrise, Start of a New Day
 
One early January morning in 2013 my husband and I were driving to Northern Virginia to visit relatives.  It was a great time to use my new Samsung Galaxy Note II smartphone camera and take some photos of the sunrise.  As my husband is driving on Interstate 81 North, I was snapping away as the sun was rising.
 
 
The above photo is an entry for the ActiveRain 2016 Photography Contest. Real Life Category. I love how the clouds look as the sun is rising for a new day. The sunrise almost looks like a spaceship. What a way to start the day to see the joy of a sunrise. Below are some other photos that were taken on that beautiful morning.

The Samsung Galaxy Note II smartphone has an 8-megapixel camera and has an advance camera feature I like ..... using best photo and the bird shot feature, I am able  to capture the perfect best snapshot  The camera rapid-fires eight still pictures and then you pick favorites with help from the phone's Best Shot recommendations.  I now have the Android Edge 6, but the Galaxy is my favorite.
