Happy Birthday Alyssa - 9 years old
Today is Alyssa's 9th birthday. This is her last year in single digits. Where has the time flown? I think this past year was the longest year. I kept thinking, "she's only 8?" She sometimes thinks she knows everything, I'm not sure where she gets that from!  I've told her that I'm always right, and if I'm always right, that means she's always wrong... she disagrees!
She does competitive Gymnastics Trampoline and Tumbling. She does competitive Swimming, her favorite stroke is the Breast Stroke. She's in Gifted & Talented at school. And when she's bad, I can punish her by taking away reading time.  It's so funny that "no reading tonight" is such a bad phrase for her to hear! At least I'm doing something right for her to love reading that much!
