Never clipped my wings!
You never stopped me from what I wanted to do!
You always insisted that I become who I wanted to be.
You always supported me in my education.
You taught me how to respect others.
You always showed me the right path. 
You encouraged me to be the best!
You helped me become a better person.
Yes, you gave me a freedom to fly!

I'd like to recite a Sanskrit Sloka (verses)

सर्वतीर्थमयी माता सर्वदेवमयः पिता 
मातरं पितरं तस्मात् सर्वयत्नेन पूजयेत्

sarvatIrthamayI maataa sarvadevamayaH pitaa maataraM pitaraM tasmaat sarvayatnena pujayet

Mother is (the embodiment) of all pilgrimages,
father is (the embodiment) of all deities.
Hence, mother and father are to be revered with all efforts.
