One of those days
  Ever run across a property that is a little different than expected? Of course, we all do from time to time.
  Yesterday was one of those days. I went to inspect a house that I was told was being rented out as a duplex and had already been inspected, they just wanted more information about the roof..
  As I pull up the property, a delivery truck pulls in as well. Turns out it is the buyers boyfriend who instead of meeting me at 11:30am for the summary and walk through, decided to tag along for the inspection at 9:30(the property was an hours drive away). That may have been fine and dandy if the property was not occupied, but there were 2 sets of tenants and three large dogs at this particular property. So,I had him wait in the delivery truck(which when I completed getting photos of the attic and let him download to his laptop, found to be his mobile apartment). The listing said built in 1977, however when crawling through the 14''x 14" attic access, I noticed knob and tube wiring and skip sheathing planks.
