Don’t Call For Me Unless I Ask For YouAs real estate agents, we get bombarded by individuals/companies trying to sell us the latest system, gadget, zip codes, seller leads, buyer leads, new software, postcards, ad spaces because they know their profit margin is huge. We sign a contract, sometimes we’re lucky enough to get out of them, sometimes the fee is so minimal that we forget we even have it. Thanks to the internet, if I want to purchase zip codes, leads etc, I will quickly find out which way to go. So when I get these type of phone calls, I don’t answer them, I do not respond to their emails either.How about recruiters? I don’t know which one I dislike more, the ones who are trying to recruit or the ones who are trying to get into my bank account. Just like all the gadgets, if I am looking to join a new brokerage because I’m not happy where I am(in my case, it would be my own brokerage), I know who I would call so no need to reach out to me.
