Ahh, So Many Places To Photograph in Pasadena
  I’m not a professional photographer.
 And although I live in the shadow of Hollywood, I also do not play one on television or in the movies.  
 Any thoughts otherwise will soon be obvious.
 But I do take lots of photos. With a simple Canon PowerShot camera.  Or more typically with my cell phone.  Quick.  Easy.   
 I feel fortunate to live, work and play in the Pasadena, California area.  This is an area rich in architectural diversity, beautiful tree-lined neighborhoods and incredible scenic vistas.  The photo opportunities are seemingly endless.  It is easy to see why Pasadena is such a popular choice for filmmakers and photographers.  
 This particular photo was taken a few years ago at Pasadena City Hall during the holiday season.   Pasadena City Hall, built in 1927, is a magnificent building designed by John Bakewell and Arthur Brown. You can read more about City Hall by clicking on the link.  I like how the ornament seems to shimmer on the tree with some of the building’s interesting architectural details in the background.
