Christmas Tree Lightings All Around Charlotte, NC Starting December 1

Is there anything that says the Christmas season has arrived more than the lighting of a Christmas tree? In Charlotte  you can usher in the holiday season at one or more of the numerous tree lighting events all around the Charlotte metro area. Here's where and when:
 
 
Thursday, December 1st:
 
Charlotte Uptown Lights On The Square tree lighting  between 5:30 pm and 7:30pm pm on the Square at North Tryon and East Trade Streets, with the lighting of the tree at 6:30pm. And after the lighting at Founders Hall there'll be live performances, shopping, tastings, and more for you to enjoy.
 
 
 
 
Fort Mill, SC tree lighting   at 7:00pm in Confederate Park at Main Street in downtown Fort Mill. Lots of holiday music to enjoy and a visit from Santa, as well. And don't forget about The Christmas parade on December 3rd, which begins at 11 am. This year’s parade theme is “Christmas Around the World,” which embraces the traditions and families around the world at Christmas.
