California Pending Home Sales October 2016
On November 22, 2016, California Association of Realtors (C.A.R) reported that pending home sales Index (PHSI) declined 6.7% to 119.1 in October of 2016 from 127.7 index in September of 2016, but up 1.5% from Index of 117.3 in October of 2015 on an annual basis based on signed contracts.
Regionally, in the Bay area pending home sales Index increased 2.4% in October of 2016 from September of 2016, and rose 6.8% from October of 2016. In Central Valley pending home sales Index fell 23.8% in October of 2016 from September of 2016, and lower 4.8% from October of 2016. In Southern California pending home sales Index gained 2.4% in October of 2016 from September of 2016, and jumped 6.8% from October of 2016.
