World AIDS Day....

 
Today is World AIDS day.  
 
Although AIDS and HIV do not garner the attention they did back in the 80's and 90's they're still out there.  And they affect millions of people worldwide.
 
That's why I am participating in the San Francisco to L.A. LifeCycle AIDS ride again in 2017.  I did the ride in 2001 and 2015, and it was one of the most memorable experiences of my life.  2,800 bicyclists and about 500 support staff all riding down the coast of California, 7 days, 545 miles to raise money for AIDS awareness, prevention and cures.  In 2015 we raised over $16.3 million on our ride alone.
