Holiday Blitz Build! ABOR Foundation/CB United NW makes a difference
It is the season of giving and there’s no more perfect way to celebrate than to help build a home for a deserving family. Our Austin Board of Realtors® Foundation is proud to partner with Habitat for Humanity for the fourth annual “Holiday Blitz Build.”
Our NW Austin Coldwell Banker Office as well as other offices signed up to help make a family’s dream of home ownership become a reality. On Wednesday, November 30th, 11 of us from our NW office showed up on-site at 8 am to help with our happy and enthusiasm on! “Home for the Holidays” was the motto of the day!
The home being built is for the Zerihun Family. Shiferaw Zerihun and Bedy Alemu Bezenesh emigrated here from Ethiopia in 2012 after a long immigration process. We had the pleasure of working side by side with Shiferaw who came out and helped build with us!
What a feeling of accomplishment knowing we contributed to helping this family realize the value owning a home will bring to their lives! We were grateful for playing a part in delivering this home by December 13th!
