This week’s report on home values for Mission Viejo and surrounding areas homes is prepared by a Mission Viejo Realtor Tim Lorenz. The report shows the Orange County Median Prices for resale homes were up 3.7 percent, for new homes up 5.5  percent and for resale condos up 0.2 percent. The sales volume is up for resale homes 19.4 percent and up 20.6 percent on condos and up 34.0  percent for new homes.  
 
•Mission Viejo Zip Code 92691 sales prices are up 2.4 percent and the sales volume is up 40.9 percent.
•Mission Viejo Zip Code 92692 sales prices are up 10.3 percent and the sales volume is up 21.2 percent.
•Aliso Viejo Zip Code 92656 sales prices are down 5.2 percent and the sales volume is up 11.8 percent.
•Laguna Niguel Zip Code 92677 sales prices down 8.5 percent and the sales volume is up 5.0 percent.
•Rancho Santa Margarita Zip Code 92688 sales prices are down 7.7 percent and the sales volume up 16.2 percent.
•San Clemente Zip Code 92672 sales prices are up 6.2 percent and the sales volume is down 7.1 percent.
•San Clemente Zip Code 92673 sales prices are up 8.6 percent and the sales volume is down 0.0 percent.
 
Here we are at one week before Christmas and we see changes in the individual cities as to their volume and median price.  Lets all look to what may have an affect on our markets.  We are going to watch ... more
