Signs of Christmas approaching on Maui can be random, from the sugar cane flowering (this is the last winter of sugar cane in Hawaii. The mill shut down this December) One sign of the holiday season is the amount of cars on the streets and the restaurants are packed.
Starting today the beaches will be full of Hawaiian sun worshipers enjoying the sunny days.
A little rain never stops the dancing in Maui.  There will be feasting, dancing and Hawaiian music.
Maui is very traditional on Christmas's day the churches are packed.
Family and friends love to spend time on the beach and surfing.
