Tax Season - an Opportunity to Reconnect With Customers!
Tax season is either a great time of year or a huge headache, depending on individual circumstances.  Some people are thrilled to get that refund, while others dread the inevitible check they'll have to write to the IRS.  Whichever side of the spectrum you fall on, it can be a great time to reconnect with prior customers and showcase your willingness to go above and beyond for them!
 
How many of your customers last year were first-time buyers?  Hopefully you've kept a list or a file handy with the names and contact information for your 2016 customers!  If so, take a look and see how many of those clients were first time buyers, or buyers who haven't bought a home in the past 20 years.  Chances are, many of these folks are unaware of the ins and outs of writing off home interest, and how to file a homestead exemption.
