What Being A Scout Leader Has Taught Me
Taking that leap from being a parent to several leadership roles in the Boy Scouts of America has been very rewarding....and at some times very challenging...
 
Do a good turn daily....Be Prepared...Do Your Best...Keeping myself physically strong, mentally awake and morally straight...kind of sounds like the REALTOR® Code of Ethics...
 
As a Scout Leader, especially as a Commissioner in the City of Philadelphia, my duty is to ensure all units succeed, which means to ABL (Always Be Learning), and in real estate the ABC....if you have seen the movie...
 
We all face challenges in real estate, and...there is always a solution to every challenge we face, but here is the question, "Do you do the right thing all the time?" A Scout is Trustworthy.
 
How many times have you thrown your hands up in the air, pulled out your hair (maybe that explains my follicly challenged scalp), but in the long run, remained polite and calm? A Scout is Cheerful.
 
Ohhh....and that ridiculous call that comes into the office, sure we can be rude, are we? A Scout is Courteous and Kind.
 
Now this is one of my pet peeves...cleanliness....oh that BO....what about the words that come from our hearts and mind through our mouths? A Scout ... more
