Problems that can ruin your home saleSelling a home always comes with its specific challenges; some are minor and can be fixed without a major problem, such as a light fixture, however there are other issues that are more challenging to solve and can have a detrimental effect to the sale of your home. It is a good idea to know if your home has any of the  four problems stated below so you can take the proper steps in remedying these issues before selling your home.
Smell
 
You want to make sure your house smells clean. If you have pets inside, make sure to keep them out the house or keep them at a neighbor’s house when your real estate agent hosts open houses. Aside from the smell, you don’t want a potential buyer to feel uncomfortable as your dog or cat follow him/her around the house. Make sure to do some deep cleaning before and while your house is on the market so the smell of your pet(s) doesn’t permeate.
