  About the Conejo Oaks Area  
Conejo Oaks is a hidden gem in the heart of Thousand Oaks.  One of the original communities this area boasts large lots, some of which are even horse zoned!  Many of the home owners are either original owners or bought their home from their parents.  Conejo Oaks has no sidewalks, no street lamps and it is not uncommon to see people riding their horses or walking their goats!  All while being smack-dab in the middle of the city!
 
This is the area I proudly reside in.  One of my favorite features about this area is not just the ease of access to two parks where ALL the biggest city events happen, the close proximity of hiking trails and the ability for your kids to walk to school, but also the Conejo Family Country Club.  This is a great members-only facility with a swimming pool, club house, showers, a park, playgrounds, BBQs, tennis courts and even a basketball court!  I enjoy being a part of this so much, that I even volunteer my time ... more
